FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally spend between 45-60 min with a new client, which helps me determine their needs. Each program is then tailored to the individual needs of the client. For resumes/interview prep: I generally start with this process, and follow up with the client as necessary, whether digitally, or in person. For tutoring: The client and myself (after the first session), generally agree on a standard course of tutoring/test prep and a number of sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in education, with certifications in English and Literacy. I began doing test preparation with my own students in my classroom, and then became a testing coordinator for a large school system. which added to my expertise in SAT/ACT prep. I have since moved out of the classroom and solely work as a curriculum coach and tutor. For resumes: I began working with my own students, and then began to offer resume clinics at our high school, for both students and adults. I am currently finishing my certification with the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches.
