FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone and/or e-mail contact. Visit customer's home or business to meet the customer, see the job, and further discuss job details in person. Write up a personalized quote and e-mail for approval, or print out to mail or drop off upon special request. If adjustments to the quote need to made, those details are discussed, modified, and resubmitted. Once approved, we begin planning start dates, specific paint colors and materials if not already determined. Then we execute the job in a timely and professional manner, following up with any paint details or adjustments necessary to customer satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15+ years of on-the-job training and problem solving. I have worked for several paint companies and contractors. I have also undergone further training through Painting Business Pro.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I had graduated high school, I was looking for opportunities for work. A distant cousin of mine offered me a painter's position and trained me on new construction type painting projects. From there, I worked on interior and exterior, highly detailed Victorian homes in Williamsport, PA, as well as serving under other painters or contractors. Now I've served Victorian, new development, and other residential and small business clients in the greater Reading and Philadelphia metropolitan areas as well as suburban and rural greater Lancaster county.
