FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session with a new client is very important because it has a direct affect on the success of all future meetings. After we both express what we hope to get out of our time together, I ask the following questions: • What is your scholastic background? • What courses are you taking? • What are your long-term goals? The answers to these questions help me to determine the client’s English skill level and how to plan future tutoring sessions. Building relationships with students takes time; encouraging dialogue in this way helps students speak out and become actively involved in the learning process.

- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work mostly with English students in middle school, high school, and college; however, I also spend time helping history, speech, and psychology students with their reading and writing. In addition, I work with adults returning to college to finish their college degrees or to improve their English speaking skills.
