- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $20 an hour and includes wiping down all surfaces, appliances, and outsides of cupboards in kitchen, clean and sanitize sink, toilet, tub in bathroom, dust and clean all glass/mirrors in additional rooms, sweep and mop/vacuum all floors. Additional services available upon request
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started house/pet sitting all by word of mouth and people started asking if I would include housecleaning while they were gone. And it just evolved from there.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have a lady who hired me to come to her house and clean with her once a week for two hours. I think I was more for motivation than anything. We went room to room, one at a time and deep cleaned everything, it took several weeks but we finally got everything shiny and clean. The best part was that we formed a great friendship that stands to this day.
