Mystic Kathryn's Event Experiences

Introduction: EVENT EXPERIENCE PROGRAMMING FOR EVERYONE At the age of 20, with 2 failed businesses under my belt I was determined to be self employed. At the encouragement of a new friend, I began offering entertainment handwriting analysis at parties & events. I was having a blast and it was suggested that I could make this hobby a full time business by adding palm and tarot readings to my entertainment repertoire. I learned these skills by working fairs and restaurants on a donation basis and by 2004 was in business full time and earned my first news mention as one of the Top Attractions in Dallas by D Magazine. This filled my evenings and weekends, but my days were blank so late in 2005 I went to work managing an entertainment agency and really learned the ins and outs of the event entertainment business. Coordinating literally sometimes over 100 entertainers at one event can be a challenge & also a fantastic learning experience. Thanks to that experience I realized that there were holes ready to be filled in with event experiences. It was in 2008 that I finally successfully began to grow the Mystic Kathryn team to accommodate larger events & Mystic Kathryn & Associates was born. In 2009 while managing the entertainment agency still during the day, I was awarded Entertainer of the Year by what was then the National Association of Catering Executives, NACE. (Now known as National Association of Catering & Events, NACE). In 2011 I left the entertainment agency and went full time into managing my other two businesses, Mystic Kathryn & Associates and Pucker Up Impressions. Business continued to grow and many of my clients & agents started asking me to help with the onsite coordination of all their entertainment. I soon began to find many more amazing specialty event experiences that I was excited about presenting to my favorite clients. Today Mystic Kathryn & Associates is now Mystic Kathryn’s Event Services, providing a host of different options to a vast scope of events.
