FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $125 for an initial 60 minute assessment, and then $100 per 45- 50 minute regular sessions. I do not work directly with insurance, but can provide a form for you to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In therapy, it is important for clients to feel like their counselor is a good "match" for them. If after reading about my work and therapeutic approach you feel that I would be a good fit for you, please go ahead and send me an email or call me so we can begin the process of setting up an appointment. Of course if you have questions before committing to an appointment, I would be more than happy to answer them. Taking the step to come into therapy can be overwhelming at times, and I hope to be able to make it as comfortable of a process as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of TX (License #74098). I am currently pursuing eating disorder specialist certification and frequently attending workshops and continuing education events, as I value continually learning for the sake of my clients.
