- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Rates start at $60 per hour, depending on the service. Some items, such as editorial calendars, are flat-rate and based on post frequency and length of calendar. All work is quoted in full and price is accepted by client before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation to understand what needs my client has, what their goals are and if we are a compatible fit for one another. If we are, we move forward. If we aren't, I refer to another professional who might be better suited to their needs. After the consult, I will put together a proposal detailing my fee structure for the work at hand. At this time a deposit is placed. Amount required depends on the work being done and is based on the preliminary estimate. During the process, proofs of work are sent and I wait for your feedback before continuing. Clients are informed of any billable hours used or changes that would be made to the initial estimate based on their feedback. After my client has approved the finished proof, the estimate is re-evaluated. If the scope of work was less than the deposit required, a refund is supplied. If the work was more than the deposit, an updated invoice is sent. When payment is made, appropriate files are released.
