I hired Ed to do a full refinish of my garage in Lakewood, CA. It involved an electrical upgrade, framing in a ceiling, insulation, dry wall, paint, cabinet installation, through wall AC unit installation and lastly an epoxy coating on the floor. The quality of the work was great overall and I am very happy. The finish on the dry wall in particular was excellent. The two minor blemishes were the lack of wood primer / paint on the thin base board (it's flaked off already in small areas) and the quality of the finish on the epoxy floor could have been a little better perhaps. They are not really garage floor coating specialists and the price point for this piece of work was excellent so it pretty much balances out. The only really complaint I had is that it took longer than it should have which is the only reason really that I am not giving them 5 stars. 5 star quality, 5 star value...let down slightly by the schedule. Ed was a pleasure to work with; honest, up front and knowledgeable. There were no hidden change orders or taking advantage of my lack of construction knowledge or any of that funny business which I appreciate greatly. His crew of guys were friendly, polite and hard working. They were great with our dog (pitbull) also which was very important to me. Overall I am very happy and I would use them again for sure. Best contractor I have worked with in the OC and Riverside area hands down!!! His entire team was really professional and highly skilled. Ed and his crew completed a full interior renovation for us in Corona, CA. This was a foreclosed property that had suffered significant damage from squatters. Full interior paint, all new hardwood flooring, new light fixtures, new windows, new countertops, new appliances, plumbing repairs, etc. The project was completed well within budget and better yet within 1 MONTH! I mean these guys definitely know what they are doing and are good at it! I will be using them again shortly on our other investment properties.
