Introduction: Hi! My name is Susan. I have 12+ years in the classroom and truly enjoy my work as an educator. I have two Masters degrees as well as multiple NJ/ NYS/ NYC certifications in both general and special education. Susan worked with my 10 year old to help him prepare for the ELA state exam. She was able to quickly identify skills needing improvement and provide him with customized instructions and lesson plans. Susan even took the time to give him an envelope on each test day with fun reminders, quick tips and treats for good luck. This summer, Susan is working with both, my 10 and 6 year old, to assist them with further developing their reading and writing skills. They enjoy working with Susan and look forward to each lesson. Again, Susan customized the lessons based on their skill sets and, as a special treat, she does science experiments with them at the end of each lesson. Susan is not only a great teacher, she is a wonderful role model.
