They did an excellent job putting up my new deck along with laying tile in my kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend them, they are truly professionals.

Ohana has completed several projects for our real estate company and we couldn't be happier. Kai handles everything start to finish enabling us to focus on other aspects of the business.

Hired on Thumbtack

We found this contractor on Thumbtack and were impressed by their reviews on this site. But in the end they ended up stealing our money and not completing the work. They didn't pay subcontractors who are threatening to put liens on the building. What work they did complete is very poorly done. Walls are not level, floor drains are leaking into the floor. They installed a ladder that fell off the building and they installed a fence that after less than 6 months is already falling over. The painting they did did not match our existing paint. We had problems right off the bat with these guys, but the owner Kai is very good at bending the truth to make it seem like everyone is lying except for him. He will continue to talk his way into you giving him more money - do a little bit more work so it seems like he is completing the job, but then stopping. They do not respond to phone calls, emails or snail mails. He and his brother Jerry were even telling subcontractors the reason that they weren't getting paid was because of us not paying. Which was simply untrue and damaged our business's reputation. In the end, we had to pay another contractor to come finish the work - some of which had to be torn down and started from scratch. The new contractor said the job should have taken 6 weeks max. It took us over 6 months waiting on Kai, Jerry and Ohana Construction before we decided to hire someone else.
