FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For instructions: 'll correspond via email to figure out details, dates and budget. Once we come to terms the next step will be for me to come out and check your space to troubleshoot any issues in advance plan set up. The last step, I show up with the supplies, set up, get the music started and then it's Go Time. During the instruction, depending on age group, I like to do fun games for kids and guests to win prizes. (supplied at no extra cost) For Murals or Custom Pieces: Depends on each project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been drawing and painting since I was a child. I received my first commission to paint 3 billboard signs as a side job that my father was too busy to accept. He runs a commercial and residential paintings company which is where I learned a lot about different products, sheens, materials, etc. As far as instructional work, I went to school to be a teacher, I have a minor in education and an emergency teaching credential. I also host weekly paint parties.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love for the arts. I quit my full time job in the financial industry so I could spend more time with my kids and do work that I'm passionate about.
