Introduction: Hello and Welcome to Cooking with Chef Erik. Do you have the passion for food and love to share it with others. As a culinary instructor, and chef for over 20 years, I will walk you through any form of instruction you would like to take. I will tailor my courses to fit your needs. Do you have a special occasion? You will learn how to cook to impress. If you haven’t the skills to cook at home, I have a course that will make you an accomplished cook. It covers all aspects from shopping, sanitation, cooking methods, desserts and so much more. We will touch on all aspects of cookery. Once you have mastered the my course you will be toasted at every meal. Allow me to be your guide on this adventure, Bon appetite, Chef Erik After a career in professional kitchens and teaching students in a Culinary Arts program, I still love what I do. Teaching has allowed me to pass on my knowledge to others. I am not in the business of keeping my recipes secret, nor do I believe in cookie cutter form of instruction. Once you learn to cook, you will look at the world with new lenses. Food cookery has been around for as long people have huddled around fires yet it is still evolving and changing. We are now in a fantastic time with so many new and exotic ingredients readily available to us that we didn’t have access to before now. I cannot sing (just ask my wife), paint or play a musical instrument: Cooking is my creative outlet. When done right, I love to see others enjoy the fruits of my labor. Food is love.
