Matt McShane has performed extensive repairs and improvements to my home. His professionalism, honesty and quality of work is extraordinary. One project he did for me was the complete gut and remodel of the basement of my home (which included 2 bedrooms, a full bath & laundry room). He also rebuilt and expanded upon the multi level decks on the back of my home. He recently repaired and/or replaced the cedar siding of the full exterior of my 3 level home. In the process, he rebuilt the bay window of my kitchen which had extensive rot. I have also used Matt for small projects such as garage door, plumbing and interior trim. I have come to believe he can fix and build anything!

Highly recommended!!! Great work at a great price. Matt installed crown molding, baseboards and casing throughout my house. His quality of work was excellent and so was his professionalism. He is a very skilled carpenter with attention to detail. We have already used him for a second job installing additional crown molding and I plan to use him again in the near future for other projects

I start with standard unit pricing and have to adjust as every job is different and highly variable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will meet with customer and discuss what they need in great detail if necessary and offer all the possible solutions.Will then provide a detailed estimate for labor and a ballpark figure for materials in most cases.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been self employed as a trim carpenter contractor in North Atlanta and Buckhead and Cobb county for 33 years. Most of my experience and training is on the job experience working with some of Atlanta's finest homebuilders and architects on custom homes.
