My hot water heater failed in a big way. I called Sidney and he came to assess it, told me what I already knew...needed a new one.
We talked about options, whether to go with a traditional or tankless model, and I went traditional. Sid made a recommendation for a unit that I could get quickly, and it wasn't the most expensive one, either.
My water heater sits in a tight corner, and required.removal of some pegboardsort that had tools hanging on them. Sid didn't even question or complain, he just did the work that was required. When it was done, everything was put back and he hauled off the old water heater.
I'd recommend Sid to anyone. He's responsive and very responsible. I found him to be honest and he does good work.

Sidney is the best! I made the mistake of hiring someone who wasn't a licensed contractor but could do the work for cheap. Because of that my new installed shower ended up leaking onto my downstairs neighbors bathroom ceiling causing water damage and mold. The plumber my Home Warranty company sent a plumber who couldn't diagnose where the leak was coming from and ended up not fixing it but still charged me a service me. My insurance company never sent a claims adjuster and just gave me the run around. I was stressed out and losing hope until my sister told me to try thumbtack.com. It turned out to be the best decision I ever made. Sidney came over the next day, diagnosed the problem, and gave me a free estimate. I hired him immediately and he went to work. He drove out of his way to Fairfield to pickup my new shower pan instead of waiting a few days to order one. Sidney was even able to match my same tile. Most important of all he was able to take care of my neighbors by making their bathroom ceiling look brand new. My neighbors were so impressed that they hired him for a future project as well. I can't say enough about how courteous and professional he is. Sidney comes from generations of professional licensed plumbers and it shows in his pedigree. Don't make the same mistake I did of hiring someone who is cheap. Sidney will give you a fair deal and make sure the job is don't right the first time.
