Traci was extremely professional and reasonable. I attended a wedding and everyone raved about how great my makeup looked. I was a little nervous about using this site and booking an artist that had never done my makeup before, but the experience was well worth it and even better, I have another excellent makeup artists that I can add to my Rolodex

I used The Beauty Bar for my daughter's prom makeover and Traci did an amazing job. My daughters makeup highlighted her natural beauty. Her look was the perfect balance between drama and elegance and she loved it!!!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The pricing system is pretty standard unless there is more detailed and a time consuming look, ie., costume makeup or theater makeup. Traveling fees may also have an effect on pricing.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Going over their desired look for the occasion, then asking if they have any skin allergies, sensitivities or issues that I should be aware of. Ex: Have you had any allergic outbreaks with any particular product? Ex: Is you're skin typically oily, dry or both?

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied my certificate of Makeup artistry at Chic Studios in New York. I also teach classes to both aspiring mua as well as those who want to perfect their makeup skills. From beginners to novice, there's always room to grow and learn.
