Introduction: My attention to my clients is unparalleled. If you look around you'll see other fitness professionals talk about how great their workouts are and leave you with a cookie- cutter program that doesn't fit you or your lifestyle. Exercise is only a small portion of the battle. And if your nutrition habits are sub-par with no one holding you accountable, you'll have a tough time seeing success. This is why I do a total body fitness evaluation on your first day and every 6 weeks. In that fitness evaluation, I'll assess your body fat percentage (how toned you are), your resting heart rate (how well conditioned you are) as well as your caloric  need (how many calories you need to consume to create fat loss) this is in addition to weight, girth measurements and performance tests within my training. Finally,I teach you what products will help you reach your fitness goals in the fastest way, while coaching and keeping you accountable through your food journal. Even if we're working out 3-4 times a week, fitness is a 7 day a week effort and I'm there with you every step of the way to make sure your habits outside of our workouts don't sabotage all your hard work. I like a lot of things actually. I like helping people achieve success they never thought was possible. I'm a high energy individual so I love helping people raise their energy level so they can power through their workday or recover from it. I LOVE when my clients tell me that friends that they have not seen in a while, gush over their new physiques. That's probably the most satisfying

I love my experience with Upward Fitness! Every time I go for a training session I'm very well pleased with the way I am pushed to healthy limits and encouraged tremendously to push through. I always get a professional timely experience and I am happy to be trained in Upward Fitness

He not only pushes you but will jump in and do the same exercises I am. It makes me feel like we're in this together rather than someone wasting their time as they wait for their next client.

Hello my name is dionne and my trainer is Jerry and he does a magnificent job at training, checking on me, ensuring me that I can keep on track. During our time in the gym he encourages me. Whatever I tell him he listens...and for a person who has a hard time I have lost at least 15 lbs so far...my schedule is now hectic but he calls and text to see how I am doing with my food intake, my exercise and how my day is going overall. If I don't come to the gym, oh he calls me and ask me if anything is wrong. I can fully say that he is one trainer I wouldn't change for the world.

I really enjoyed my sessions with Jerry Steward he was professional and showed a genuine interest in my total health. He offered me meal plans and suggested things I could do between our sessions. During our sessions he was very supportive and always encouraged me to push myself. Jerry is an excellent trainer with proven results.
