Introduction: I am a Professional Portrait photographer specializing in Senior Portraits. I love all my seniors from past years and feel as though I can connect with them on the same level being as I am still somewhat fresh out of high school. I have been photographing for 9 years, 6 years professionally. My goal with photographing High School Seniors is to make them see their true beauty and potential at time in their life when they are still trying to figure themselves out. I want them all to be able to look back and think "YES! That was exactly how I was in high school!" I absolutely LOVE photographing high school seniors. It is the most exciting time in a young person's life and being able to document the personality and joys/aspirations of those who have SO MUCH ahead of them is such an honor!

My boyfriend and I had a couples session with Mikki and it was amazing! She really captured our relationship and dynamic and was great about helping us "pose" naturally (which we both suck at). Our friends and family were raving about our photos and we couldn't have been happier with the results. Luckily we are no longer together but I'm looking forward to another shoot with Mikki so she can help me capture my single-lady glow :) I recommend her all day, everyday. You won't find a cooler/more professional photographer out there!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My main goal is to make my clients feel absolutely comfortable and at ease! That is how the best photographs come about is when someone is comfortable being themselves even with someone that had just met.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught artist -- I started photography my junior year of high school. I have attended workshops, I have done online training and have been mentored by a few of Minnesota's best quality photographers!
