FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you have contacted me about your photography needs, we'll schedule a coffee date to discuss all the details and look through my portfolio to make sure we are a good fit. I'll give you a contract to look over and send in with your deposit. Once your deposit is paid, I'll do location scouting for your session and we'll pick the perfect location. When it's time for your session, we'll take lots of photos and have lots of fun. It's kind of like a well-dressed hang out! I select the best images from the session and edit them for color correction/light balance. 2-3 weeks after the session, I send you a link to download your photos! You can print your own photos, or you can have me print them for you. This is where we talk about wall art and albums too if you're interested in those. Most importantly, enjoy your photos and share with your friends and family!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
You might think you're a difficult client, but chances are you're totally normal! I've had family sessions with sugar-crazed kiddos, ornery dads, and snot-smeared faces. I've had newborn sessions with hungry, crying babies. I've done engagement sessions at a brewery and a bar, and pet sessions where I got poop smeared on my hand. I've photographed a chicken downtown and a trio of corgis determined to chase each other until they dropped. This is NORMAL! No one is perfect, so don't worry! I always make it work. I've retouched all kinds of things from baby acne and dandruff to facial peels gone wrong and massive warts. I've even shopped out an especially low-hanging pair of testicles from one of my canine clients! If you're worried about something, just let me know and we can work it into your package.
