Introduction: I specialize in getting properties ready to sell. I paint, do small repairs - change a faucet, light fixture, etc. I will also deep clean any space, pack for my customers, and stage their rooms. If I could leave more than five starts I would. This is the second time I've had Dukes Painting and Restoration work for me. I've been blessed to have Midge on the job. Not only did she do a great job painting the interior of my house, but she gave me feedback when I requested it, and was willing to take care of additional tasks like hanging new blinds and drilling for knobs on all my cabinets. She is incredibly flexible as well. Mid-way through the painting of my office, I changed the color of the ceiling and she responded positively saying, "You need to be happy when this job is over." I am very satisfied with all of her work. She is careful, cleans up after herself and positive. I can actually say it was fun having her here. (She even fixed my drawer rails that were on backwards and the drawer finally closes correctly!) She is detail-oriented, and took the time to be sure she fully understood what I wanted her to do. I highly recommend Midge and this company for any job

I hired Dukes Painting and Restoration to help me prepare my house for listing on the market. The work included staining the deck, painting multiple rooms, landscape work, transforming the dungeon-like basement into a clean usable space (painting and sealing the walls and floor). The results were fantastic and I was actually able to increase the listing of the house by $15,000.

Midge came in and painted my master bedroom and spare bedroom. She showed up when she said she would, did a great job and gave me some great suggestions on changing out my old light switches to new white ones and then showed me how to do it and helped me do the whole job. I was very impressed with her work and her pleasant and helpful attitude. I will use her in the future for painting jobs at my house and would refer her to any of my friends or family.

I had two bathrooms painted and they are perfect. In addition, I replaced my backsplash and it is gorgeous. I've attached before and after shots of the backsplash project. The before pictures don't really show how plain and blah it was but you'll get the idea. The new backsplash was suggested by Midge and my kitchen is so much prettier.

I customize my pricing based on the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with them and see the actual project site. That way we can get a feel for one another and there is opportunity to ask/answer lots of questions. I want my customers to be clear on what services I will be providing and ensure that it is what they really want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been painting and doing remodeling projects for about thirty years. I have worked with professionals over the years who kept me from getting in over my head, and taught me a lot in the meantime. I don't take on jobs that I cannot do, or that I don't have the right tools for.
