- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a sliding scale fee based on the needs and constraints of each organization.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with a new customer is to gain a solid understanding of their goals and how we can work together to have success in achieving those goals. I prefer phone conversations or face-to-face interactions, but I'm not opposed to coordinating the specifics via email.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University (SFSU) in 2001. During my studies I worked for SFSU as a member of their orientation staff as well as their student outreach services program. Both jobs required me to work one-on-one with perspective students. I also made regular presentations to small and large groups of youth and adults. Following graduation I took a job as a crisis counselor and public educator where I continued to make presentations based on suicide prevention and awareness as well as stress management. In January of 2017 I founded The Lotus Project, an organization focused on changing the way we speak and think about depression and suicide. In May of 2017 Amber Skye Publishing published my book, Growing Through Grief, A guide to healthy healing after losing a loved one to suicide.
