- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am fairly negotiable on rates. I believe that rates can be open for discussion in order to meet the needs of the client. I would like to be compensated for my time, but my top priority is guaranteeing satisfaction. I can bring a fully stocked bar kit. I can bring in an additional person to assist in tending bar for larger parties and events.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an initial phone conversation to determine the needs of clients, get an idea for what type of event, and ensure that I can adequately meet the client's needs and expectations. I always offer a meet and greet before the event, and I am happy to demonstrate my skills if need be. I try to ease the mind of client, because nine times out of ten I am being hired to take a stressor away from the host.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 8 years of experience tending bar from small events to 200+ person events. I have worked in college bars, sports bar, fine dining, weddings, birthday parties, you name it. In a relaxed setting I am sociable with guests, and in a high-stress, fast-paced event I am swift and efficient.
