FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $135 for individual therapy and $145 for relationship therapy per 50 minute session. I do not accept insurance directly but can offer some discounts if you pay for a package of sessions upfront. I also really enjoy working with motivated people - if you feel this is you, but can’t afford my fee, please don’t let this stop you from reaching out. I reserve a few lower-fee spots for motivated clients and often we can come to a temporary fee arrangement that is manageable for both of us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 15 minute consultation with every client to determine if we will be a good fit in working together. Finding a counselor that is right for you is an important process involving many factors - and I value your time. I don't want to charge you or meet for a few sessions only to find that I am not what you are looking for. I often find that we both can tell after the 15 minute consultation whether I will be right for the next steps towards wellness.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Psychology and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently a registered LPC intern working towards licensure.
