Reading Right

Introduction: I am one of just a few dyslexia screeners in Utah. I am also a trained reading tutor in Higher Steps, an Orton-Gillingham based program, who knows how to teach people with and without dyslexia. I have dual master's degrees in teaching and education with a certification in special education. Dyslexia Stats: 20% of all people have some form of dyslexia. 40% of left-handed people have dyslexia. 100% of people with dyslexia inherited it from one or both parents. 48% of our prison population has dyslexia. It doesn't have to be that way. There are scientifically proven methods that can bring reading proficiency up to grade level and above for all readers who struggle.
