Hello! Here at The Other Side Movers, we’re proud to provide the Salt Lake City area with trusted local moving services from Logan to St. George. Our rate is $70/hour per man, truck included, with a 2 hour minimum. We provide free estimates and perform full-service packing, and moving for personal and commercial moves. From large pieces like pianos to important valuables, we take care to make sure your belongings arrive safely. In addition, we offer furniture installation and reconfiguration services. We are fast and careful and serve with a smile. Whether you are living in a small one-bedroom apartment or a large multistory home, we will eliminate the hassle and worry from your next move. We realize moving is a chore, so we plan to put a smile on your face with our exceptional customer service and cheerful attitude. We handle your belongings with respectful care and amaze you with our professionalism and polite, friendly manner. We provide packing materials and/or do your packing for you then move you across town or across the state.

They were the best movers I have ever used. They wrapped everything and loaded very carefully. It was the first time I've moved that there wasn't any damage to my furniture. I have moved 4 times in the last 6 years. They were awesome!

We just had a fabulous experience with The Other Side Movers!!! We had to have an antique china cabinet and other furniture moved after a death in the family. I called for a quote they got right back with me and scheduled at my convenience. They checked in a few days before to confirm. On the day of the move the gentleman arrived on time and ready to work. They were extremely polite and kind and had a fantastic work ethic. They got right to work making sure everything was done the way I wanted. When it was time to unload at the destination we still had furniture that wasn’t moved out. They moved that as well and then brought the furniture in put it where we requested and even hooked up the washer and dryer! There was not a bump or a ding in the walls or the furniture!! All this was done in the time allotted for the price quoted. They were wonderful!! If you need movers I highly recommended this company and the fine gentleman they employ. They are honest and their prices are unbeatable!

I have moved eight times in the last ten years (too much). This is the first time I've hired movers, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. They were so professional, quick, and careful during the process. I am officially moved thanks to The Other Side Movers! They even showed up ten minutes early. The process was simple: we walked through the rooms and I pointed out what needed to be moved, and then they went to work. Most of the items I had them move were my heavy/large items. They wrapped my belongings with blankets and plastic wrap (for a nominal fee) before putting them in the truck in a very organized manner. Arriving at my place the process was almost the same, just backwards: I walked them through the house and pointed out where my things were going to be going and which rooms to put things in. I was impressed by their ability to recall most of the items in the truck and where they were to be placed. When everything was moved, they went over the cost in detail, showed me objects that were very slightly damaged (Ikea furniture, so it falls apart easy anyways), and asked if I had any questions or feedback. I would hope that people know that something may get damaged in a move and they would never damage anything on purpose. If I could give the company one piece of advice, it would be to get a dolly to help the movers. They just used their own manpower and elbow grease to move all of my things. Other than that, I had no problems and have no complaints. I would hire these guys again. I think it is a great program for the movers and I hope it helps our community become stronger and better.

We receive many requests online and provide an initial quote with our hourly rate. We also provide our phone number for customers to get ahold of us so we can discuss the details of the move and answer any questions they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a mover, foreman and estimator for many years, working my way up to a manager. I've been on thousands of moves in my 12 years of experience.
