- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing will totally depend on what project I am working on, but generally, most projects will fall under my simple pricing structure: $125 for the first hour and $75 for every hour after. Most jobs will only take 1-2 hours, so $125-200. This includes any support questions/calls you need after the job is complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with my clients based on what they actually need. There are plenty of times(see my reviews) where I ended up talking my clients into NOT hiring me because, once they explained their needs, I was able to inform them of a no cost alternative. My primary goal is to get you set up with the RIGHT solution, not the solution that will make me the most money. I may be a bit more expensive than some of my competition, but it's because I guarantee that the experience and service I provide are both top notch and, more importantly, honest.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At age 11 I discovered my father had a large stash of computer parts in our storage room, I asked if I could have them and he was happy to oblige. I built my first computer in under a month, had three built in the next and explored my way into understanding how to network them, to make them talk to each other! It was so much fun! From there I took every opportunity to learn more about this exciting puzzle that is technology. I took every class possible, took jobs as a computer technician and even expanded my knowledge into the world of Macs by working at the Apple Store. I understand technology and have grown up speaking the language. But what really sets me apart is the fact that I get people! I am excited and I excel by opportunities to work on a team, to speak in public, or to teach. I have a passion for people. What does that mean for you? Not only can I fix your tech and introduce you to products/services that will improve your lifestyle/business, but I can do it all while speaking in understandable terms!
