FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard rates for event photography, but it does depend on several factors-- how many attendees, if I bring any extra equipment like backdrops, lighting, ect. I try to be as flexible as possible depending on the clients' needs. I do prefer to discuss pricing directly with the client or customer, and I'm willing to work on a flat rate, hourly rate, or on a per image basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe customers and clients have a great deal of variance in their needs. This could be differences in the desired end use, or differences in budget, or type of photography needed, or other factors. I like to focus on the clients' needs from the get-go, and be able to cater my services and abilities to fine tune images and services to provide clients with exemplary images and also customer service. I take great pride in my work, and I'm not happy until the client is also happy and completely satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Studio Art with a Photography Emphasis. Other relative experience is from my own work through the years with involvement in many different types of photography. I was also lead photographer for a website development company doing mostly product photography.
