- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically a tear off will range between $295 and $320 per square. If there is multiple layers.thr price will go up. If there is a two story or steep roof price will typically go up. realistically the only way to get a proper roofing bid is to have me.come out and inspect it to give you an accurate price and explain the process. A recover over the existing roof is from 230 to 250 a square.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically i will set up a time to come look at the roof. I will then inspect the roof. Discuss with customer my thoughts on the roof. Give the customer my options of getting the roof replaced. Pick colors, schedule, then im in contact every 3 to 5 business days till the job is complete. Then i will.do a walk through of quality and control and make sure clean up is satisfactory to mine and the customers needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out in roofing 3 yrs ago. I learned how to work with insurance companies to get roofs replaced or repaired. i have through my highschool years done some roofing as a crew member.
