Introduction: I have been tutoring individuals in Spanish and English for the past 6 years. I have taught Spanish and ESL professionally for 3 years. I currently hold an accredited teaching license and am a public school educator. I make learning engaging through real-life application and supportive accountability. I love the light bulb moments when individuals reach understanding of a concept. I enjoy finding the perfect way to make concepts stick. I love tracking progress and showing evidence of growth.

Michael is both an excellent teacher and an excellent person. While he taught in a group setting, he took the time to make sure we understood everything individually. He taught me ways to learn and practice that really helped me keep developing my Spanish even after he was my teacher, and now I’m majoring in Spanish and plan on it being my career. You can tell he really cares about those he is working with and he is really good at giving positive reinforcement and encouragement. He puts in the time to teach to individuals needs, and he knows what he’s talking about. If you have the chance to work with him you should definitely take it! He really helped me learn and love Spanish.

Michael is an incredible and valuable employee. He takes his job very seriously in the sense that he doesn't treat his job as just one more thing on his schedule, but rather he puts his whole heart and soul into it.
Another admirable quality is that Michael always seeks to improve both himself and his surroundings. During our time working together, he never stopped seeking to get better by observing others, constantly referring to the curriculum, and being receptive to constructive criticism. In addition, to working to better himself, he helped those around him to increase their confidence and ability in teaching. Not only did he focus on that, but he also worked to create a unified and positive environment between all the other teachers.
I know he will be a great asset wherever he goes because of these qualities and many others that set him apart as an excellent teacher, employee, and person.
