FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $100/hour which includes a CD of all unedited photos. Editing and prints are additional. Photographs on traditional color or black and white film is also available for an additional fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's imperative to talk or meet prior to the photo shoot. We'll discuss details like time and location and discuss the questions below. For a big event session, like a wedding, I may ask to do a walk around of the location. Next comes the photo session. Within 3 to 7 days (depending on the number of photographs I take) the digital proofs will be online for viewing. You decide which photos you like and I'll edit and color correct your picks and deliver the photos to you on the format requested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 25 years of practical experience in photography as well as course work in composition and dark room techniques. I've even taken photography elective courses at MIT's Department of Visual Arts. I love editorial photography, which is a "go with the flow and follow the action" type of photography. I like my photographs to tell a story.
