- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since we are non-profit catering service, we aim to be competitive with the market while providing exceptional service. Our customers love our mission of "Cooking for a Cause"! All purchases are tax deductible because we are sponsored by The Shelf Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)3 non profit educational foundation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process is to meet with the client to really assess their needs to see how we may be assistance. In addition, we have a short profile that we complete to make sure there is a complete understanding of the customer's requirements.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although we just formed The Red Spoon Gourmet as a non profit catering company in 2016, I have been cooking/catering professionally for over 30 years. My professional references include the assisting with the compilation and publishing of 3 cookbooks, and have cooked professionally on television as half of The Kitchen Divas largely during the 90's. I also served as a food stylist for many years. Most recently, completed the Breakfast and Launch Program from Cafe Commerce, Sur La Table, and I am a Certified Food Safety Manager. I have provided catering services for parties from 20-200 in the past year at a host of locations.
