FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I truly believe communication is key. My clients get quick responses regarding any questions they have. I like to set up calls/meetings asap so we can have a meet and greet. I'd also like my clients to feel they can ask any questions, contribute ideas and be open with me about anything; that's why I encourage them not to hold back. Let me know what you want, and don't worry about being shy about it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts (B.E.C.A) at San Francisco State University. As you can guess, there were a wide variety of topics to cover. The one that stuck out for me was TV Production. I developed an obsession for being behind the camera and being apart of the creative process. Then, somehow along the lines, I ended up with a camera and the obsession grew into a passion--but for still images. Something about not being able to recapture a specific moment in time was very intriguing. From there,I began learning the art from whoever was willing to teach me. I spent lots of time shooting and analyzing my work and the work of others. Hours a day were dedicated to photographing anything I could; and once I taught myself to use editing software, I never looked back. My hobby is now my profession and I couldn't be happier.
