Introduction: I love to help people thrive. Not just exist, but to live an enjoyable, connected, and engaged life through mind, body, spirit, and yoga! I am great at helping people first identify what they want from yoga, and outlining a clear plan with 1) how to practice - the physical practice of breathing, stretching and strengthening. 2) how to trust that the practice works 3) what to do when we're not together. 4) And how to incorporate other wellness techniques and yoga into your day. Often times we just attend a yoga class here or there. Or feel intimidated and don't know where to start. Yoga is an incredibly deep, yet simple practice that has something for everyone, if you want it. I love to connect with people, find out what they're looking to balance in their life - within their own minds and bodies, and within the outside world too. Yoga is an incredibly healing and empowering practice. I look forward to sharing it with you. Meeting people and creating life-changing experiences. The work I enjoy most is working with people who are really ready for a change, and who are willing to welcome in new experiences. You don't have to be spiritual to practice, but the practice is spiritual to me, because I have always struggled with how to truly relax and release stress. I've discovered that you can do that through moving the body as well as through still meditation, and I love to share both with people who are ready to make room in their life to prioritize themselves.

I for one highly recommend working with Julie. She is an outstanding teacher on how she presents yoga to her clients, very thoughful and fun. Her good energy and positive outlook on life from the very beginning made me want to take more classes with her. I have only Julie to thank for happily getting me involved in yoga, and getting my body to be more flexible and in better shape. Thank you Sunshine!

Julie has a warm and welcoming presence and is an amazing personal yoga instructor. She really got to know me, my body type and how I moved in just one class. We tailored classes specifically to help me stretch tight areas and strengthen certain areas too. She is really knowledgeable about how to work with what's going on with your body. She's also a wealth of knowledge on food and nutrition, and she has also helped understand small nutrition tips that have made a big difference. She also is extremely warm and empathetic with a delightful sense of humor. I always feel amazing leaving her class. The experience of working with Julie is A+!!!

Julie pushes me but also knows when I need to dial it back. She has helped me slow down, get centered, and get really strong. I wish that I could take a class with Julie everyday!

Julie was an excellent instructor. I've always wanted someone who takes the time to give me personal feedback and help, Julie did that wonderfully. I'll be hiring her again. Highly recommended!

I've been working with Julie as I get back into doing yoga again. It's been awesome to tell her what I need, whether I'm sore from a run or walking around the city all day or I need a good workout. She creates awesome classes based on what I need so I can follow along and learn through my body instead of having to think so much about what to do. Practicing outside is new to me and has been really enhancing my ability to feel connected to my practice, as well as being the best start to my day. I definitely recommend it!
