FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the first class I charge $75 for an hour and a half. For the first 20 minutes I like to just get to know you. If you'd prefer to spend the first 20 minutes filling a questionairre instead, I can send that to you instead. We then practice for an hour, and then wrap up for 10 minutes with any questions and a guide on what to do (if you want) for days I'm not there. I like to have one session first to get to know you and make sure you like me. If you feel we're a good fit, I suggest we do an intro package for 6 sessions. My intro package is $325 for the first 6 sessions. I like to meet at least twice a week for the first three weeks to help you establish a program and routine. After that, as often as you'd like to meet. So that's $54 a class, $20 off regular price per class. My regular sessions are $75 per lesson, with cost of travel to you included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet for an hour and a half on the first visit. The first half hour is just so I can get to know you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been practicing yoga for 15 years and have been teaching yoga part-time for 2 years. I just moved to San Francisco where I am pursuing yoga full-time, teaching Outdoor Yoga classes and private clients. I am almost finished with my yoga teacher training course, which I will complete during the second week of November, 2015. I am also a chef, with a 700 hour certificate in health-supportive culinary training. I worked for several years in the food world and now combine my knowledge of physical movement with healing foods. I am also a lifelong athlete - a skier, runner, and triathlete for many years. I have competed since college (I'm 29 now) in triathlons and running races, including marathons. I have recovered from many injuries using yoga to regain both physical and mental strength. Through my own challenges I have recovered from many injuries, including hamstring tears and lower back pain. I am now feeling the strongest I've ever been as I practice yoga everyday, even if it's only for a few minutes.
