Introduction: Hey! I am Bruno Franco!
A Brazilian Ph.D. student in the History Department at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. My current research is on American Historical Culture, séc. XIX-XXI. I am currently a Visiting Student Researcher on the Divisions of Literature, Cultures, and Languages at Stanford University. I live in Redwood City, CA.
I have been working on History for 13 years. My tasks and professional background includes:
- personal tutoring (History, Literature, Philosophy, and Languages in General)
- historical research (qualitative research, analyzes, criticism, writing reports).
- Assistant Professor in Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, Brazil (2011-2013)
- Bachelor's Degree in History - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (2007)
- Master's Degree in Social History - Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil (2011)
- Ph.D. in Social History - Universidade de São Paulo (expected for 2016)
I am passionate by the historical, social, political, and cultural background of America (and particularly the San Francisco Bay Area) and by the opportunities and promises of an equal and connected future to humankind.
My life goal - and what makes me really happy - is to help people to understand better the world we live in through history, literature, languages, and all the cultures we can find on this planet.
