Fascinating Rhythm Dance School
About this pro
Marge is amazing! We worked with Marge for our wedding First Dance and are extremely happy. We started with no dancing experience whatsoever and Marge was able to help us choreograph a beautiful, intimate and graceful performance to showcase our skills! Every dance class is a fun time and we genuinely are so excited every week to learn and practice. Marge is thoughtful and comes well prepared to each lesson, having listened to the next section of our song so she doesn't take up any of class time to come up with the moves. She is a great instructor and is very knowledgeable because the routine she choreographs is very tailored to the style, speed, and intonations of our song choice. Marge has a lot of great ideas but also takes our feedback into account. She is great to work with and we're so happy we went with Marge and the Fascinating Rhythm Dance School!May 4, 2018VerifiedMarge G.'s reply
Thank you so Much! You can't imagine how much this helps me get new business. It has been a hugh pleasure working with the two of you and I look forward to future lessons working on dances for fun, no pressure. I believe that dance is a lifelong healthy hobby that never gets old or boring. Thanks again, Marge

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I compare my prices with all the dance schools in my area of the San Francisco Bay Area. I work out of my home, so I can offer a much better price, because I have no overhead. I don't need to add on $15 to pay for the rental of an off site dance studio, and I have no expenses for travel time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When meeting a new dance student I like to sit down with them to relax, and talk a little at first to get to know something about them, their history of dancing, if any, in their past, their reasons for taking a dance class ( a wedding or special event, hobby, exercise, just for fun) their goals and desires. I ask them what kind of music or dance style they are most interested in, since I teach many different Ballroom and Latin dances. I also tell them about myself and my history of teaching and dance experiences. This is a good way to break the ice. I have music playing in the background to create an ambiance of comfort and relaxation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started dance lessons at age 4 in ballet, tap, and acrobatics. My mom was a profession dancer. Dance has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I drifted away from dance in my early teen years, but found my way back learning "partner" dancing...all the Ballroom dances, such as Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and so much more. It is SO much fun!
