FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are well within the normal range for psychotherapy/counseling/personal coaching in the Bay Area. Whenever possible, I will work with clients on a sliding scale to make my services affordable. I am not on any managed care insurance panels so only clients with a PPO type insurance plan can use their out of network insurance coverage to get reimbursed for any covered portion of the fee. I'm happy to assist clients with this type of coverage with the necessary statements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With prospective clients, we generally talk on the phone briefly to get some background information and a sense of what the issues are, and then we schedule a first session at which time I will take a thorough history and offer some specific ideas about how we might proceed to reach the desired outcome.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree in counseling psychology with a concentration in drama therapy and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California as well as a registered drama therapist for the National Association of Drama Therapy.
