- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This depends on the scope of the project. Depending on the size of the work, pricing will be done on a flat fee or hourly basis. Please get in touch with me directly to discuss. We can land on an option that works best for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I take the following steps to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met: Discovery (done by either phone or email) - This is where we discuss your goals and the purpose of the content. Where will it live? What are you trying to achieve? Is there a mission statement of your brand that should be woven into copy? All these questions and more will be covered in the first phase of working together. Timeline - We will discuss deliverables and your best method for receiving drafts, as well as when you ideally want to spend time on editing discussions. Communication - Do you want to have a check-in call during the timeline? Are you partial to emails? What time of day do you anticipate getting in touch? I am here to serve you and your business needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Philosophy and Communications, so my educational background is absolutely in writing and critical thought. I was a Series 7 and 63 registered representative, and have worked in major financial institutions. I helped build a marketing team at an online asset manager. I have worked in e-commerce publishing, influencer marketing, and for a large social media platform. My background is diverse and technical, so you can feel confident I have the skills to achieve your business objectives through copy.
