Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Stress free, customized, classy photo sessions for you and your loved one. I have a strong background in portrait photography and filmmaking. I am detail oriented, taking care to have you look and feel comfortable and your best version when I photograph you. I truly believe each person is inherently beautiful and try to work with that when I make images. I *love* meeting new people with diverse personalities. It makes my day when we make images together, and to see their pleased faces!!

My husband and I wanted a pre-wedding shoot but were feeling overwhelmed by the thought of a day long over-prescriptive session like most photographers do. We discovered this talented and vivacious photographer by chance, and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Vatsala took the time to know us as individuals as well as a couple, and carefully understood what we had in mind. On the day of the shoot, she calmed our nerves down and gradually drew us out, and kept the energy level of the group high throughout. She shared the photos sooner than we had expected, and we loved them! We had an amazing experience with Vatsala, and would gladly recommend her to everyone.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a qualified Cinematographer and Photographer with a Masters degree in Motion picture photography.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with individuals, families, artists and small business owners in the past. I enjoy photographing people, performance arts and artwork the most.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have an open mind, but try to provide a good sense of what you're looking for. It is helpful to know the expected turnaround time from your end. Also let the photographer know if you'd like a certain look, or other considerations you want them to accommodate, such as dress changes, location, time, aesthetic choices, etc. Ask your photographer for their suggestions, and how they would like to achieve the results you are looking for.
