- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $65 an hour for handyman services, $68 an hour to mount art, mirrors, shelves, etc., $80 an hour for electrical work, and $55 an hour for furniture assembly, with a one hour minimum. I will mount your TV for $99. I accept cash, checks, and credit cards. The price for custom woodworking is based on the cost of materials, time, and the complexity of your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I read my customer's job description and then ask enough questions to fill in the missing pieces. If I am confident that I can complete the job to my customer's satisfaction, I accept the assignment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Thirty years of experience as a homeowner doing all of my own home repairs and maintenance. Over twenty-five years of experience as a woodworker and furniture designer. I have a Master's degree in psychology and great people skills!
