- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually work at an hourly rate, which can vary from $50-$70/hour, depending on the scope of work required. I also establish a cap amount charged, so that you as the client know what to expect financially. Once I exceed the hours of the cap, the work will be completed at not charge. I am open to working with you to establishing a payment schedule/system so that all involved feel comfortable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get an idea of the scope of work, and then establish a schedule based on the timeframe agreed upon. I will clearly itemize deliverables you can expect/require, and then we can set up deadlines.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a M. Arch degree, and have worked for both larger architecture firms as well as smaller-scale green residential studios. I have experience carrying a project through from as-built measurements and schematic design to pulling a building permit, and connecting the client with a contractor.
