FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing always includes editing and digital delivery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The key to a great shoot is comfort! If you are interested in setting up a shoot I'm always happy to meet in person or via video call. This way we can break the ice as well as discuss the nature of your photography project and needs. Once we have confirmed that it's a match and worked out the date, hours and details of the shoot, I will compose an agreement. In the period leading up to the shoot we communicate as needed to work out some additional details and you are always welcome to ask questions or share additional ideas. I will do the same to make sure we're as prepared as possible on the day of the shoot. For weddings, I will work with the couple or planner or whoever else is in charge of coordinating the day. If possible, I will do a site visit well before the wedding to scout out locations for couple and group shots, check out the lighting situation, etc. After the event or shoot I will edit the images and deliver them digitally within four weeks (for large events and weddings), usually within two. Upon request, I can make a small batch available within one or two days, to share quickly on Social Media.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Many years ago, when I started exhibiting my wildlife and landscape work, some wonderful people started approaching me with requests to shoot their events and weddings. Since then, I've loved every opportunity to create beautiful photographs together with inspiring people, as well as the honor of capturing some of the best moments and memories in my clients' lives.
