FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing - How Much Is This Going to Set Me Back Because no two projects are alike, I charge an hourly rate for each project. I work from home, my overhead is low, so I have the freedom to be flexible. Each project is quoted separately. I estimate the amount of time it will take to complete the project and the amount of research that will be necessary. Once you have provided me with the details of your project, I will send you a quote that is tailored to fit your needs. My fees includes research, phone conversations, the actual writing and design time and one round of revisions. I ask for a 50% deposit up front with the remainder of the fee to be paid upon completion, and most importantly your satisfaction. Traditional Print Copywriting $65 per hour Website Content $95 per hour 5 page maximum Each Additional Page $150 - $250 Social Media Posting Create Profile $199 per profile Daily $499 per month Weekly $199 per month Monthly $99 per month Web Design* Client Direct Changes $75 per hour average of 5 hours Style Changes / Refresh $95 per hour average of 15 hours New Website $125 per hour average of 20 hours *total time spent on each project is subject to change based on requested changes. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free, initial consultation to get an understanding of the size and scope of the project. If I feel that the potential client and I are a good fit I then email a detailed outline of the project for the clients approval. Typically clients like to know just how much information they need to provide before beginning a project. My preference is to understand it from a Macro and a Micro level in order to provide them with the most complete collateral. For example, on the macro size I need to know: What does your company do? Who are your customers? What type of benefits do your products or services provide? Are there any unique attributes you specifically want to highlight? On a micro scale I need to know: What is your companies image and how would you like it portrayed? What is the tone (attitude) you want used for the message? What does your company do better or different than your competition? What are your products or services key selling points (features, benefits, etc.)?
