- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25 per hour for straight transcription/typist work product (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a one hour minimum. I will need to view the project prior to providing a bid for the work requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with them in person to get a feel for how they work, what their expectations are, level of urgency on projects, how they communicate when issues need to be addressed, etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my education into business and administrative work while still in high school. I have been working in an administrative capacity since 1982. The last several years I have pursued customer service related positions thereby expanding my interpersonal and communication skills.
