Dan rebuilt the 1920 stairs on my house, did a fantastic job! Compromising between original craftsmanship and modern cost efficiency is an almost impossible job. Dan did really well, we set off without drawings or clear instructions, just a few photographs. Along the way Dan improvised, remaking wood profiles that are no longer available, making design changes to accommodate modern needs without compromising overall style and everything with great attention for detail. No cut is nearly perfect, they're all absolutely perfect. He cared the final outcome was good looking, matching to the rest of the house, solid and durable. And it is!
