I have certification as a domestic violence counselor and school counselor and have some training and experience in DBT. I have worked in the school system and with youth for many years at both elementary, middle, and high school levels. I specialize in working with school aged children and their families, and also work with individuals, adults, and couples.
The foundation of my philosophy is to increase awareness of the Self, develop deep roots and to empower clients to create an authentic and meaningful life. My goal is to provide a nurturing, reflective, and safe space to explore your Self and to discover your true nature and to experience your place in the world.
With a diverse background as a teacher, personal aide for people with disabilities, tutor for kids on the Autism spectrum, in the hospital settings, schools, shelters, and private practice, I provide a unique and holistic view of to therapy and treatment.
I enjoy being privy to some of the most vulnerable parts of people and to be able to provide tools to help people overcome obstacles and become stronger and more successful.
