- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our custom tiered cakes start at $5/person with buttercream icing, or $6.75/person in fondant icing. We have many tiered cake sizes, ranging from 27-200+, so we can build a cake to fit any occasion!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Many of our clients will inquire through email, where they send some ideas to get some feedback from our team. We encourage you to find a couple of photos of cakes you love, so we can get an idea what you like! We are also available in store Tuesday-Saturday from 10a-6pm and Sunday from 10a-2pm (closed Monday). We can provide flavor lists, sizes, prices, alternative designs, dessert options, and more over email and in person. Payments are made over the phone or in person.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
To get more information, consider the following: 1. Date of the event - We ask for at least 10 days notice for all orders 2. Serving size - Most of our cakes are based on a per person pricing system, so we need to know an approximate headcount 3. Reference photos - We can replicate, or change, many photos of cakes from the internet/our own portfolio. We prefer to have a reference as much as possible regarding designs, placement, and colors. Once you have this information, we can generate a price quote and give you a flavor list to consider flavors.
