Introduction: My name is Krista Yapp, LMFT, Life Coach, twin mom and founder of Waves of Change Therapy. I offer ONLINE/TELEHEALTH mental health services throughout all of California and Life Coaching nation wide. Hello, I am a licensed MFT in California and a Certified Holistic Life Coach. I hold my Master's in Holistic Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University as well as my BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, I am a registered Yoga Instructor and a certified Integrated Holistic Life and Wellness Coach. Aside from having the new title of 'mama' I enjoys spending time with my family and pitbull. I enjoy teaching and practicing yoga, reading, sunshine and warm beach days. I put heart and passion into everything I do. Everything I do is created with love. Holistic Mental Health Therapy is an integrative practice rooted in alternative approaches to traditional therapy. This modality of therapy brings awareness to the whole Self; including body, mind and spirit in order to better understand, heal and build acceptance of the Self. Holistic Psychotherapy offers support through a gentle trans-formative process for those willing to make positive changes in their lives. Through the use of various alternative, holistic therapeutic methods and collaborative measures, clients are able to develop life-changing habits to help them cope with all of life’s various obstacles. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a FREE 15 minute phone or Zoom consultation to make sure we are a right fit for each other, as well as to understand your goals for therapy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University MA is Holistic Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University Licensed Marraige and Family Therapist #123132 in CA Certified Integrated Life and Wellness Coach with Integrated Wellness Academy. I am training in mindfulness and meditation as well as a 200 hour registered yoga teacher with High Vibe Yoga.
