Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

We hired IRA construction to completely tear down our kitchen and build a new loft and new kitchen. We interviewed almost 7 contractors before we settled on IRA construction. Reason to hire them is their professionalism, decent quote, a good network of subs and insider knowledge about the third party vendors to get the best value for the materials. At least half of the contractors don't want to do structural work since their margin will be impacted, tough and more time to execute but I didn't see hesitation from IRA Construction. They started sooner than promised. One of the partner Rameil is on top of the project and worked tirelessly till last day. I have seen many contractors who won't respond after burnout but I always get a response from Rameil regardless of the question type whether it is silly or not. All the phases(Demo, Foundation, Framing-Beams and pillars, Plumbing, Electrical, Sheetrock, Flooring, Cabinet, Countertop, and backsplash) were executed smoothly. There are some hiccups but it is resolved on escalation. Art is the contractor on the field and he is really artistic as the name goes that makes a lot of difference versus contractors who just want to finish the job and one who wants to finish with the nice looking outcome. I am posting some of the pictures for your judgment. The contractor also took care of some minor fixes without showing face. They didn't show remorse to address the customer complaints. e.g. there is an instance where I am not happy with some part of the framing when I pointed that out they redid the framing which is a rare thing in the industry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody or hire them again.
