People who represented this company were personable and informative for the most part when I spoke with them on the phone. They were flexible as to the timing of the move, which was not a big job so had to be added to other shipments or loads. Items were delivered a bit earlier than the estimated date, which was good in our case. This was a long distance move and given it was a fairly small load, I think it took a few days to get an estimate of time of arrival, but they did get it to us in advance and arrived when they said they would.

My Move did a long distance move for me from California to Boston. I have about a studio's worth of things, and their quote was the lowest by several hundred dollars. Richard was very helpful and responsive in helping me arrange my move, and they picked up my things from California with no problem. The reason I'm rating them four stars is because once my things were picked up from the California location, it was difficult to get updates on the progress of my move. Every time I wanted an update, I had to request one, even though I was told I would receive updates closer to the delivery date (at the time I requested the first update, the drivers were a day away from Massachusetts). Planning the delivery takes coordination, and I would have appreciated more communication towards the end of the process. Otherwise, my things arrived safely.

They had the lowest quote and I was a little concerned that quality might suffer. I should not have worried. They were very flexible with moving dates!

A+ all around. A few broken/damaged items but overall a solid job with a tight turn around time. Will hire again for future moves. Vadim was attentive, careful, and worked fast.

overall lots of care to packing our large art and piano. One thing that was a bit disconcerting - a very expensive and brand new Briggs and Riley suitcase was packed by them and somehow never made it out of the box. Also, pack your own wardrobe boxes. They stuff a whole bunch of other things in with the clothes and about 1/2 of my professional and dry cleanables were totally smashed and wrinkled and I had to have them re-pressed and cleaned. Also, a brand new blouse had it's sleeve sticking out of the wardrobe box and was snagged, thus ruined. And the tag was still on it! Also, make sure that you get an accurate bid from them. They grossly under-bid our job and were over halfway through the packing procedure before they let us know they needed another truck. This made the total bid go up by at least 1/3 of the total. What were we going to do? Say, "never mind! unload the truck?" Not likely. The other thing is that one of their moving trucks left a huge oil stain on our brand new driveway. It wasn't the fault of the truck, but an operator error. Phone service was great, but when we talked to them about compensation for the driveway, the shirt and the suitcase, they said to file a claim. I hope they honor it, but when we talked with them about the suitcase, the first few phone calls, they remembered it, but by the 4th or 5th call, they denied ever having seen it, even though I was specific about that suitcase during packing because I had intended to use it for a business trip a couple of weeks after the move. I wish I would have moved it myself. I do have a picture of the suitcase in context of the other items that needed to be packed, but it then becomes a case of "he said she said." We shall see. Claim will be submitted. If they make it right, I will give them 5 stars. They processed our claim and reimbursed us for the missing items and clothing damage. Thank you Richard! And my word of advice - make sure that you have a person look at everything that needs to be moved so you can get an accurate estimate. Unless you are a moving pro, or have moved recently and truly understand the scope of work, don't assume!
