Introduction: I recently received my Masters in English and have taught rhetoric and composition summer courses at the university level. I have extensive experience working with academic writing in a variety of genres, including but not limited to essays, thesis, dissertations, and journal articles. I have worked closely with several non-native speakers of English to identify common writing patters that hinder clear and effective communication.
