FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a pricing system set up for 1-hour sessions as well as 30-minute sessions. I charge $60 an hour and $40 for 30 minutes of training. The price varies depending on how many sessions you invest in at one given time. Payment plans are flexible and do not require you to pay for a package in full. You may pay for sessions by the month, week, and even per session if a package deal may not work best for you. Personally, I feel that you cannot put a price on peace of mind. With me, you can be sure of that fact that you are receiving quality one on one attention with a focus on not only exercise, but nutrition and supplementation as well. Unlike corporate gyms, the gym I train out of does not require a membership fee and you will receive privacy as well as 24 hour access in which you can schedule your sessions with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I begin working with a new client I begin the process by getting to know them through an initial meeting. We go through a free 30 minute physical assessment followed by a nutritional evaluation to ensure that I am helping them succeed in every way possible. Often times, individuals searching for a personal trainer will sign up with anyone who sounds credible. However, it is important that you see for yourself that your trainer knows exactly how to approach your unique starting point and how to proceed with your customized training regiment. I will go over exactly why we do every exercise that we are doing and how it will help you to reach your goal. Nutrition plays a very important role in our success together as well. You can expect me to hold you accountable for the training and nutrition plans I give you and you can expect to have constant communication with me to address any questions or concerns that you may have with your program.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a nationally recognized personal training certification through NCCPT as well as my CPR/AED certification. I have received training in: anatomy, physiology, nutrition, corrective exercise, weight loss, muscle gain, meditation, yoga and aerobics. I am currently a student at UTSA studying athletic medicine, which gives me a much better understanding of the body and how to tone, sculpt and recover injuries by using specific techniques.
